Bordo Bello

[post by Chris]

If you keep up with Plello on Twitter you might have heard me talking about designing skate decks over the past few weeks. Bordo Bello (meaning “Beautiful Board” in Italian) is a skateboard art fundraiser (auction) that takes place annually in Denver Colorado. Artists and graphic designers from all over (I think I’m the only Canadian) donate decks which they have designed/painted/modified etc. The funds raised go to Youth Design Denver, a designer summer internship program, and Access Gallery, a local initiative promoting the power of people with disabilities.

Here are the two decks I submitted, click ‘em big.

Nice work Chris. Love the concept. Something about that yellow board. It really pops.

  2. These are real? They look so cool I thought they were computer mock-ups. Do you have anymore?

I love them! If I had a board that awesome I would consider learning to skate haha but we all know that would never happen. Good work :)
