If you keep up with Plello on Twitter you might have heard me talking about designing skate decks over the past few weeks. Bordo Bello (meaning “Beautiful Board” in Italian) is a skateboard art fundraiser (auction) that takes place annually in Denver Colorado. Artists and graphic designers from all over (I think I’m the only Canadian) donate decks which they have designed/painted/modified etc. The funds raised go to Youth Design Denver, a designer summer internship program, and Access Gallery, a local initiative promoting the power of people with disabilities.
Here are the two decks I submitted, click ‘em big.

Nice work Chris. Love the concept. Something about that yellow board. It really pops.
Thanks Jimmy, the yellow is my favorite as well.
These are real? They look so cool I thought they were computer mock-ups. Do you have anymore?
These are mock-ups but 2 of each exist in real life.
I love them! If I had a board that awesome I would consider learning to skate haha but we all know that would never happen. Good work
